Our Story
I started Clinden Constructions with a simple mission — to deliver beautifully crafted homes and renovations that improve not just the space — but the way people live within it.
In the beginning, we focused on delivering traditional renovations and extensions for families across Melbourne’s west. But everything changed when we were asked to help a local family adapt their home for their son, who lives with a severe disability.
Seeing how life-changing that project was — not just for safety, but for dignity and freedom — shifted the direction of our business.
As a father of a child with a disability myself, I understand personally that a home is more than just four walls. It should make life easier, safer and more empowering — not create barriers.
That belief was reinforced again when a close friend’s father-in-law suffered a stroke. Overnight, the home he loved became unsafe to navigate. It made me realise how quickly life can change — and how important it is that homes are designed to adapt with us, not against us.
