Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

1.1 The Program is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
1.2 Referrers must not be employees, directors, or subcontractors of Clinden Constructions or their immediate family members.
1.3 The Referred Person (“Friend”) must be a new client who has not previously enquired, received a quote, or signed a contract with Clinden Constructions.
1.4 The Program applies only to residential building contracts executed directly with Clinden Constructions Pty Ltd.

2. Referral Reward

2.1 The Referrer will receive a reward equal to 1% of the total contract value (including GST) up to a maximum of AUD $1,000.
2.2 The reward amount is calculated based on the final signed building contract value (excluding variations made after signing).
2.3 The reward will be paid via electronic funds transfer (EFT) or another mutually agreed payment method.
2.4 Payment will be made within 30 days after:

• (a) the referred client signs a valid building contract; and

• (b) the client pays the initial contract deposit.

 

3. How to Refer

3.1 Referrals must be made by completing the official referral form available on our website, completing a referral business card or by email to info@clindenconstructions.com.au prior to the referred client’s initial enquiry.
3.2 The Referrer must provide the full name, phone number, and email address of the Friend.
3.3 Only one Referrer will be recognised per referred client. The first referral received will take precedence.

 

4. Limitations & Exclusions

4.1 The reward will not apply if:

• (a) the referred client cancels the contract before commencement;

• (b) the referred project is a quote, tender, or consultation that does not result in a signed building contract;

• (c) the referral was made after the Friend had already contacted Clinden Constructions; or

• (d) the Referrer provides false or misleading information.
  4.2 Clinden Constructions reserves the right to verify all details provided and refuse payment where eligibility cannot be confirmed.
  4.3 Rewards are not transferable or redeemable for cash or any other goods or services beyond the terms stated.

 

5. Tax Obligations

The Referrer is responsible for any tax liabilities that may arise from receiving the reward. Clinden Constructions will not withhold or remit tax on behalf of the Referrer.

 

6. Changes, Suspension or Termination

6.1 Clinden Constructions reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate this Program at any time without prior notice.
6.2 Any change will not affect valid referrals submitted prior to the date of change or termination.
6.3 Updated Terms will be posted on our website, and continued participation constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

 

7. Privacy

7.1 Personal information collected for this Program will be used solely for administering the referral and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
7.2 By providing referral details, the Referrer confirms they have obtained the Friend’s consent to share their contact information with Clinden Constructions.

 

8. General Conditions

8.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.
8.2 Any disputes arising in connection with this Program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
8.3 Clinden Constructions’ decision on any aspect of the Program is final and binding.
8.4 Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, agency, or partnership relationship between the Referrer and Clinden Constructions.
